We have been guiding elk hunts for over 15 years and have been fortunate enough to hold 100% success. Most of the hunts have been conducted on the Fishlake unit but I have guided hunts on the Monroe, Lasal, Pahvant, Panguitch Lake and Paunsaugunt. Most hunts are conducted from a camp type setting or a hotel in the nearest town to the unit.
Horse packouts
We do have horses for hire. If you are hunting Elk or Bison sometimes its easier to call for help, if you find yourself in a situation that you would like to hire someone to help get your meat and cape off the mountain we do offer packout services. Each scenerio is a little different so pricing will be adjusted as needed but minimum is $1,000. Price will depend on mileage fuel and how much work we have to do when we get there so if your wanting to save some money be sure to have your animal caped quartered and ready to load when we arrive.
